Pâte à Choux: Éclairs and Profiteroles

In this 3 hour atelier, get hands-on experience with the creation of a medley of choux pastry based desserts and savory appetizers. In this workshop, you will make your own éclairs, profiteroles, choquettes, and learn to make gougères. You'll also learn crème patissière and ganache, essential elements of every pastry professional's repertoire, but not as difficult as you might think!

Each student leaves with a box containing their own creations and inspiration to last a good long time!

This workshop has a 4 student limit.

About Plum Lyon: The Plum Lyon kitchen welcomes you to come and cook in Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France. Located in the ancient silk-worker's district on the hill of the Croix Rousse, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Plum Lyon Teaching Kitchen is offering seasonal market classes, classic French cooking, children's workshops in English, and single subject ateliers that cover a chosen technique or theme in French cuisine. We accommodate a maximum of 6 students per class. There is plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning in our classes.
