Terms and Conditions

 


TIMELY ARRIVAL

We open the kitchen a few minutes before each class begins, and we ask that you do everything you can to arrive at the time listed on your Order Confirmation. If you meet a delay and will be arriving more than 10 minutes late for a Market Table Class, please contact us to arrange to catch-up with the group.  For French Pastry Workshops, we may begin class at the scheduled time in order to finish on time for other participants.  

 


DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, ALLERGIES AND FOOD SENSITIVITES

Dietary restrictions, food allergies and sensitivites are handled on a case-by-case basis through direct contact by e-mail with Lucy at Plum Lyon, and are generally accommodated through alternatives with plating. 

Please note:  If you have life-threatening or severe allergies or a medically imposed elimination diet that excludes full categories of foods, we ask that you not sign up for a group class and instead inquire about the availability of a private class.  This way we can take the measures necessary to meet your specific needs - and still do a great class for you.  

 


THIRD-PARTY RESERVATIONS

We do not allow Plum's classes to be sold as a product or part of a tour package by a third party, tour operator, or travel agency.  Agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you are not a travel agent making a business oriented third-party reservation.  Plum Lyon reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any third-party reservations found to be made by travel agents or tour operators.  

 


MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

We can hold a Market Table class with a minimum of 2 registered participants.  While many classes at Plum Lyon are fully booked well in advance, some classes in early or late season do not meet the minimum number of participants.  In the rare event that you are the only person registered for a class, you will be contacted to make arrangements for attendance in another class if it will fit into your schedule, or issue a full refund.     

 


CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that sometimes plans change or mistakes are made while you plan your trip. Plum will honor all reasonable cancellation requests with a 100% refund. Please understand however that a reasonable time frame is needed to re-fill a cancelled spot in a class. If you cancel less than 7 days before the class you reserved is to take place, a refund will only be provided if the reservation you liberated by cancelling is filled before class time.  Plum Lyon's classes often have waiting lists, and every effort will be made to fill the spot should you need to cancel.
