PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RESERVED DATE!

When you sign up for a class, you will receive confirmation by e-mail.  By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to double check your confirmation to ensure that the date for the class you have reserved is correct.  If you have made an error and reserved the wrong date by accident, please immediately contact Lucy to alert her to this error: it is easily fixed if you tell her right away.

TIMELY ARRIVAL

Classes are held at the Plum Lyon Teaching Kitchen, located at 49 rue des Tables Claudiennes, 69001 Lyon, France. The Market Table classes begin at 9:00 a.m., and the French Pastry classes begin at 1:00 p.m. We open the kitchen ten minutes prior to the beginning of class. We ask that you do everything you can to arrive on time. If you meet a delay and will be arriving more than 10 minutes late for a Market Table Class, please contact the Teaching Kitchen to arrange to catch up with the group.

MINIMUM PARTICIPATION for CLASSES to TAKE PLACE

Although it is quite rare, from time to time, our regularly-scheduled cooking classes will not achieve our minimum number of 2 participants.  If this happens, an effort will be made to find another suitable class convenient to your availability.  If a suitable replacement date cannot be found, you will receive a full refund.

THIRD-PARTY RESERVATIONS

For specific legal reasons, we do not allow Plum's classes to be sold or re-sold as your own product or part of a tour package by a third party, tour operator, or travel agency.  If a reservation is made as a group, the person making the reservation must be in the group. Agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you are not making a third-party reservation.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND SENSITIVITIES

Dietary restrictions, food allergies and sensitivites are handled on a case-by-case basis through direct contact by e-mail with Lucy at Plum Lyon before you register for a group class.  Do not wait until class time to inform us of an allergy or dietary restriction, including vegetarian, pescatarian, or allergies or sensitivites due to medical conditions.

If you inform us in advance, we can often develop strategies to allow you to enjoy what we are preparing through alternatives in plating, choices at service, or in some cases, substitutions, if it will not disrupt the flow of class.  In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree that you will discuss any dietary restriction you have with Lucy prior to signing up for class to find out if your needs can be met on a given class day.

Please note:  If you have life-threatening or severe allergies or a medically imposed elimination diet, please do not sign up for a group class - instead inquire about the availability of a private class.  This way we can take the measures necessary to meet your specific needs, and still do a great class for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that sometimes plans change. Since Plum Lyon's classes often have waiting-lists and every effort is made to fill the spot should you need to cancel, there's actually a good chance we can find someone to fill your spot if you need to cancel.

Cancellations over 10 days out are always accomodated with a refund.  If a cancellation takes place less than 10 days before your class, we will first consult the waiting list for the class, and do everything we can to fill your spot.  If we are able to find a replacement for you or the spot is otherwise filled before class, you will receive a full refund as above.

No-shows and last minute cancellations:  If your plans change, please make sure to contact Plum, otherwise your spot is blocked and cannot be filled by anyone else.  Even if it is last minute, please contact us.  Under no circumstances will we provide a refund to no-shows, or for a cancellation less than 10 days out if we cannot find a replacement for you.

Please be advised that Plum cannot absorb any fees or exchange lost though the refund process, nor can we be held accountable for circumstances or events beyond our responsibility.
